Spirit Wear FAQ

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

We love hearing from people and all questions are always welcome. Here are some that are examples of what we hear frequently and what you’d like to know might already be listed here. If not…just call!

  • Question: Does the Spiritwear Shop actually make all of the costumes or do you write the orders and have them made elsewhere?
  • Answer: We like designing and creating our own outfits way too much to let somebody else have all the fun!Yes…we make all of our own costumes and we love each and every one of them.
  • Question: Our pre-school is planning a theme pageant about the environment and I am the “lucky” mom in charge of costumes. I’m lost and starting to panic. What do I do?
  • Answer: Take a deep breath then call us. We can work with you and everybody will think you did it with ease! Really!
  • Question: How far in advance of an event do you need an order?
  • Answer: Of course each order is different and there are lots of factors such as quantity and design complexity. We hand-create each item and custom fitting also takes time. Another consideration is the amount of work we have in-shop.
  • Question: What is a ‘prototype’?
  • Answer: On multiple-item orders we do a single outfit from the approved design. This is sized to fit one of the performers and shows the customer how all of the outfits will look. This will be the final sign-off before we begin to produce the rest of the items.
